Bay Day Wednesdays
Join with other women + kids for Bay Day Wednesdays. Every Wednesday throughout the summer, pack up a picnic and some beach toys to come relax, play and be a light together at Mission Point Park. The fun begins June 17th!
Wave Waterpark
Want a fun-filled evening at the waterpark for your whole family at NO COST to you?!
Thanks to SEND Network (the church planting network that Platform Church is a part of), this event is completely FREE to the whole Platform Church family! All you need to do is register. The event includes free entry to the waterpark and FREE DINNER…as long as you register!

Men's Fishing Trip
Our 1st Annual Platform Church Men’s Fishing Trip! A private deep sea fishing charter has been booked for July 17th and 18th in Santa Barbara. We will be carpooling from San Diego at 8am on Friday, July 17th and spend the day in Santa Barbara, then sleeping at Free Methodist Church in Santa Barbara (bring a sleeping bag and pad...or air mattress). Then, early on Saturday, July 18th, we'll board the Stardust out of Sea Landing at 6am for a 3/4 day charter at the Channel Islands.
Cost is $150 each + bring your own cash for food, any boat services you desire (they'll filet your fish for you for a small cost) and tip for the crew.
Expect an epic trip! Each guy should come home with 10-20 fish! Rockfish, whitefish, lingcod and more.
This trip will sell out, so FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!
Family Movie Night
We’ve been looking at the different “episodes” of Joseph’s life, as a church, over the past several weeks.
What better way to cap off the past series than to come together for a family movie night?! Join us at the property of Village Church at 10701 Magnolia Ave, Santee on June 7th at 6pm. We’ll have smash burgers for dinner, popcorn, candy and “Joseph: King of Dreams” on the big screen out on the front lawn! Bring chairs, blankets, or whatever you want to sit on and plan on enjoying a summer evening together! All are invited!
Platform Youth Bowling Night!
Calling all youth! (7th-12th grade) We’re renting out a bowling alley!
Bowling night at Aztec Lanes @ SDSU on Friday, June 5th! The fun starts at 6pm, bowling begins at 6:30pm and we’ll wrap the night up by 8pm. Invite your friends and hope to see you there!

Seder Meal
What’s a Seder? The Seder is an experiential celebration of the Passover. It’s the meal Jesus shared with his disciples in the Upper Room the night before he would die on the cross. It’s that VERY tradition that Jesus commanded His disciples to continue. This is an echo of the Father’s command in Exodus 12. God tells His people to make the Seder a “lasting ordinance.” Come taste, see, and experience the GOSPEL in a meaningful and special way that will cause the Good News of Jesus to come alive like you may have not experienced before.
The Seder meal is free to come to (there will be a way to give if you feel compelled) and we just ask that you RSVP so we can be prepared. This is a catered event and the perfect thing to invite friends and family to. The food is great, the message behind the meal is the best ever!

Baptism Mar. 22nd
Ready to let the world know that you’re following Jesus? Baptism is an outward communication of the inward change that has happened in your life!
Baptisms will be held at Gage following service on Mar. 22nd.
If you would like to be baptized, please also plan on coming to a short baptism class next the Welcome Center after service on Mar. 15th.
Mexico Mission Trip
Have a heart for missions and kids?! Want to serve in a different country, but only travel 30 minutes away? This is a unique opportunity to serve missionary families who are giving their lives to serve God all over the world and partner with missions efforts in Mexico in a powerful way!

Sign Up For Rooted
Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience where you’ll learn spiritual rhythms and get to practice them in the context of intimate and intentional community.
We all have rhythms in our lives. The way we wake up, get ready, go about the day. Here’s the big question: how many of your every day rhythms take you into the presence of God? If we know that real healing, restoration and hope happens in God’s presence…shouldn’t we have every day rhythms that prioritize that? This is what Rooted is all about! You learn how to read your bible, pray, deal with sin, give like God, serve, share your story, and worship. On top of that, you’ll get the chance to learn AND experience each of these rhythms with a group of people who might just become your new best friends! ;)

We’re going through the stories of Acts to look at how revival happened then because we’re certain it’s happening now!
We long to see the whole Body of Christ platformed to be the light.
